This golf tournament allows our first responders, and veterans play golf. And our partners cover the entire cost of the private event.

At Water Valleys' Golf Courses, Raindance National, Pelican Lakes, Pelican Falls, and the Island at Pelican Lakes. This one-day Charity Event honors our Heroes: Veterans, Active-Duty Military, Sheriffs, Police, Firefighters, EMS, State Patrol; our First Responders, and their families! Our Sponsored Teams play side by side with us, and we cover the costs for our participating Heroes.
Our Host, Major Ed Pulido, with JDME, and the Warriors for Freedom. We are joined by over 20 local Charities that participate to raise awareness and funding for these organizations.
The reason this tournament works, is that our Sponsors, pick up all the costs for our Heroes. There is a one to one ratio: Sponsor to Hero. Our Sponsors are the people that pay to play. Our Heroes are our Vets, Active-/Duty, Sheriffs, Police, Fire, Ems, they play for free because the sponsors pay for them as well as their own players.
Each Sponsor Team is 4 Players, Each Hero Team is 4 Players. We have levels of sponsorship.
Honor Sponsor: A Sponsor that donates for four teams is called an Honor Sponsor.
That Sponsor Pays for their own 16 players, four teams, and sponsors 4 Hero teams, 16 players.
The cost is 20k, Honor Sponsor.
Freedom Sponsor: A Sponsor that donates to three teams is called a Freedom Sponsor.
That Sponsor Pays for their own 12 players, three teams, and sponsors 3 Hero teams, 12 players.
The cost is 15k, Freedom Sponsor.
Patriot Sponsor: A Sponsor that donates for two teams is called a Patriot Sponsor.
That Sponsor Pays for their own 8 players, 2 teams and sponsors 2 Hero teams, 8 players.
The cost is 10k, Patriot Sponsor.
Hero Sponsor: A sponsor who donates to a single team is called a Hero Sponsor.
That Sponsor Pays for their own 4-player team and sponsors a Hero team, four players.
The cost is 5k, Hero Sponsor.
Island, Patriot Boat, and Other Sponsorship Opportunities are available. Sponsor packages are event inclusive: website links, breakfast, lunch, prize entries, awards, swag, and more!

On July 24th, 2024, the 4th Annual Stars and Stripes Golf Tournament will hold post-golf events on the Island at Pelican Lakes. After golf, we all head to the Island for lunch and golf awards. We will have our MC/DJ Mark Wieneke, playing great music, while the Freedom Boat gives small groups tours of the Lake. We begin our evening Hero’s Ceremony at 6 pm. Martin Lind, Major Ed Pulido, guest speakers will honor each of our participating Hero’s Departments, with representatives from each Veterans, Military, and First Responders department accepting an award on behalf of their department. After our Hero’s Ceremony, Clay Aery will open our Country Music Jamm. Randy Rich and guests will join in, and then David Adam Byrnes will take the stage. Appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages are included in our Island Event Heroes Tribute! All Sponsor levels include player Island Access and plus one passes. All Hero and Charity participants in the golf event, get access to the Island Event, as well as plus one passes.
